For example, a site with a stellar score of 100 is much more likely to appear on the first page of search engine results pages, and a site with a 1 score may not show up at all. The job on Google’s end is to simply make sure that when a person searches for information, they will be happy with the results they find. For example, If someone is searching for a product like apple juice and they get images of an Apple macbook pro something is wrong. It doesn’t matter how greatly optimized Apple’s site site may be or how high their DA score is if there isn’t any relevant information for the search it will not rank for apple juice.

So, does DA mean anything at all? Domain Authority scores are exceptional because they give you an actual number that you have for reference. And, SEO is extremely crucial, so naturally a high score is a goal that is desired by many and achieved by few.

While you do want to keep an eye on your DA score, it’s also crucial that you focus on the intangibles of your site — (e.g. its relevant content, quality, and usability. That’s what makes organic traffic click on your site and STAY there.)

Algorithms by Google also observe high turnover rates, so if your traffic is regularly bouncing on to the next site, your DA score will have little worth. Your goal should be to deliver relevant content expanded with relevant links and keywords so that your site ranks high.
